CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
At St James Church, our kids (aged 0-11), experience safe, age appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative, fun and relevant way. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, we're supporting our children and families in some more unusual ways. These are open to all, so please get in touch if you'd like to join in.
For more information on any of our work for children please do get in touch with our Children's Worker, Helen.
During the summer, aware of families being away or having 'stay-cations' Helen is just placing materials on here for families to use during the service, using the 'Hands On Worship' session from Sunday morning as our teaching material. Helen will make sure materials are on here to download before the service on Sunday.
Reasons to be hopeful...Jesus.
This week we reflect on just how amazing Jesus is, we think about his wonderful characteristics and so we realize how he fills us with hope.

Believing and Doing.
Somethings are just meant to be together, like Batman and Robin or fish and chips. This month we explore how believing in God and doing good works, go together and make an awesome pairing.
Although we can't meet together, we can still enjoy exploring God's love for us at home! Crafts, games, stories and other challenges are all available to download below.
Make sure you watch the video first!

Mega Mondays Summer Challenge
Church within the current COVID-19 guidelines is tricky for many people, especially families. So we're holding a Forest Church service as an alternative to the in-person services throughout September.
Everyone is welcome, and this is particularly suitable for families. We meet at St James School Eco-Zone, which is accessed through the alleyway between Jun Yue and The Villa Restaurants on Whalley Road, Clitheroe. Forest Church takes place on Sunday at 10.30am. Waterproof footwear and coats are essential.
We use the natural environment to worship and explore the same themes as the main church services. For more information, please contact Helen.
