Friday YOuth

Friday Youth is not meeting yet - watch this space for a start date.

Friday youth is for any young people who want a safe place to meet with friends, have fun and ask questions.​ We have Table Tennis, games consoles, pool and space for sports activities as well as a café area! Phase 1 (year 7 and 8) meet from 6:30pm till 8pm. Phase 2 (year 9 to 13) meet from 8pm till 9:30pm. 

On arrival - Young people will be registered on arrival in the main church foyer. Then we start in the main church hall. There is a small entrance fee of 50p (first week free) this goes towards the upkeep of equipment etc.

Phase 1 During the evening - ​We start the evening in the main church hall, where we have time playing games and generally having fun together. We have a short 5-10 minute thought of the week where young people can ask questions, discuss opinions and share their thoughts on topics. By 7pm we have free flow for the rest of the evening, young people can play pool, table football, table tennis, games consoles, sit and talk, get snacks from the café are (please bring extra money for this), play football and lots more. At 7:50pm we gather in the Oasis room for any notices, awards and to say goodbye. Young people leave through the Oasis Room exit.

Phase 2 During the evening - ​We start the evening in the main church hall, where we have time to have fun or just catch up with friends. We have a short 5-10 minute thought of the week where young people can ask questions, discuss opinions and share their thoughts on topics. By 8:30pm we have free flow for the rest of the evening, young people can play pool, table football, table tennis, games consoles, sit and talk, get snacks from the café are (please bring extra money for this), play football and lots more. At 9:20pm we gather in the Oasis room for any notices, awards and to say goodbye. Young people leave through the Oasis Room exit.

On departure - Young people do not have to be collected at the end of their session. However if you are collecting them please let us know so we keep them with us until you arrive. We ask that they are collected promptly if you are collecting. Young people can only enter youth once each evening, so if they decide to leave early we will let you know that they have left and will not admit them back in that evening.
