Our youth work is a mix of something for everyone. We encourage young people to explore their faith and what these relationships mean to us individually and together. The different groups create a safe place to explore and question and there's loads of different activities going on.

Those in school years 7-9 meet on Sunday evenings during term time from 7pm-8.15pm at St James’ Church. We use this time and space to socialise, support each other, be challenged in our faith, and explore in depth what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.
The group is a safe, welcoming place where young people can realise their full potential and worth in Christ, and be supported as they put their faith into action.
Those in school years 10-13 meet on Wednesday evenings during term time from 19:30 at the home of Jo and Olie Pellet. This is the place to be yourself, make friends, have fun and explore your questions on life and faith. There are also opportunities to put our faith into action in our town and in our church.
Kingdom Youth is our Sunday morning group for School years 6-9, which meets during the 10:30 service. It is a fun, safe, informal space for young people to discuss and explore issues of life and faith together. We focus on different topics and Bible passages each week using a mixture of games, activities and illustrations, in order to introduce and explore a wide variety of spiritual and lifestyle matters. Each week we have drinks and food, and once a month we also enjoy a fuller breakfast together before church starts.
Youth Worship Nights
Youth Worship Nights happen once a term. The Youth lead worship, teach, manage the sound and visuals, and minister to one another.
These are always amazing times of growth and experiencing Jesus in a new way. Make sure the next one is in your diary now!
Life is full of questions. Who is God? Why am I here? Where do the dinosaurs fit into the bible?! No one should be afraid of these questions, it's how we discover our own faith or relationship with Jesus.
The Alpha Course is set up to help you explore these questions with like minded people.
We occasionally run this great course for people who want to find out more about the Christian faith and following Jesus.
