Struggling with debt or unemployment? Christians Against Poverty is an award-winning charity which supports people out of debt, into work or simply teaches you to manage your money better.
Our Clitheroe CAP Centre opened in November 2011 and has worked with over 150 clients to date. We have loved celebrating with those clients who have become debt free.

CAP Money is a simple, yet highly effective money management course that teaches people budgeting skills and a cash-based system that really works. This course will help anyone to get more in control of their finances, so they can save, give and prevent or deal with debt.
St James’ Church has partnered with Christians Against Poverty to offer CAP Money courses in our community. The service we offer is completely free. Our standard 'adult' course runs over three sessions, which are held at St James' Church, or can be arranged elsewhere for a community group. We also run student, youth and children’s versions of the course, which we’re keen to use with local schools and community groups. Please contact Graham if you are interested in discussing options.
Due to the current health situation, the CAP Money Course due to start on Tuesday 17th March 2020 has been cancelled. The courses we plan to start on 9th June 2020, 29th Sept 2020 and 26th Jan 2021 will be subject to guidance at the time. All of these can be booked via the link below.
