Room Hire
Our Oasis Room (hall) and kitchen are available to hire for parties and events.
The Oasis Room underwent a full refurbishment in Summer 2022. It can accommodate up to 50 people comfortably seated.
Our kitchen is available for use as part of the hire of the Oasis Room. It is equipped with electric water heater, gas boiler, cooker, fridge and microwave.
Toilets, disabled toilet and baby changing facilities are also available. Full wheelchair access to all ground floor facilities.
Room hire is charged at £25.00 per hour, with concessions for church members and charitable organisations.
Tables and chairs are available as part of the room hire. Hire of toys may be discussed but will be subject to availability and an additional charge.
Presentation equipment is also available to use.

Please note:
St James’ Church reserves the right to use the building for public worship on Sunday morning.
The premises may not be used before 8am. The premises will be vacated by 11pm.
No alcohol will be allowed on the premises at any time.
No religions or parts thereof, except for Christianity, can be practiced in the building.
Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the building. Noise should be kept to a minimum so as not to cause nuisance to nearby residents.
All building users and their guests must ensure that vehicles are not parked outside of local residences. Details of alternative places to park are available on request.
The hirer should be aware of fire precautions and notify people attending their function.
The building is insured for public liability, but hirers are advised to take out insurance to cover their function.
The church reserves the right to refuse a booking.
